Purpose

The purpose of this design project was to create a new logo and brand identity for Pharmacity that resonates with their target audience. The aim was to embody the idea of health as the greatest gift, positioning Pharmacity as a trusted brand in the pharmaceutical and wellness industry.

Concept

The concept of the design was to convey wellness, sustainability, and responsibility through simple, clean lines and color choices that reflect these values. The logo uses green to symbolize health, blue for trust, and gray for neutrality and stability. The modern fonts and color variations were designed to make Pharmacity’s logo versatile and applicable across various platforms.

  • Key Concept Elements:

    • Health and Wellness: The central message of Pharmacity is to promote the idea of health as a gift, and the design reinforces this through calm, soothing colors.

    • Sustainability: The choice of green and earth tones highlights the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

    • Brand Versatility: The logo is adaptable, with multiple variations for use in different media.

Execution

The execution of the Pharmacity design project involved the following steps:

  • Research & Analysis: The team spent time researching the target market and identifying key trends in the wellness and pharmaceutical industry to ensure the design would resonate with the audience.

  • Concept Development: The team brainstormed and finalized the design concept that aligns with Pharmacity’s vision of health and sustainability.

  • Logo Design: The final design includes several logo versions, including full-color and black-and-white options, ensuring it works well across various applications (e.g., websites, print materials, signage).

  • Brand Assets: Along with the logo, the design also involved creating brand guidelines for consistent use of color palettes, fonts, and imagery.

Design Assets:

  • Logo Variations: The logo was developed with multiple variations, including green, blue, and gray versions to allow flexibility across different platforms.

  • Brand Guidelines: The brand guidelines ensure consistency across all marketing materials and help maintain the integrity of the brand identity.

  • Execution Timeline: The project took 8 weeks to complete from concept development to the final design, including post-production and design revisions.
